Southern Ontario based heavy hitters The Paroxysm are turning heads with the release of their latest single Putrid.
The song acts as the bands second track to grace the scene, following the succesful release of their debut single Shattered To Pieces.
The song begins with an ethereal guitar lead that gradually declines into a sea of fast riffs and galloping chugs. The track takes a turn near the bridge of the song before erupting into a breakdown reminiscent of 2010 era deathcore, that feels both familiar and new at the same time.
The band has just begun to dip their feet into the music scene and we are excited to see what they have in store for us next!
