Alberta's Canadas Core Commandos, Our Last Crusade are back with a new single titled Thulcandra.
The track opens with a pretty sick and bouncy intro riff remincent of Meshuggah then transitions into a choppy verse riff. Vocally it's unrelenting as per usual, how their vocalist maintains their breathe control is beyond me truthfully. Chorus is very catchy as well as some great melodic sections in there. The breakdown is catchy and does it's job, catchy crushing and very dancable.
Overall really solid, easy 4-4.5/5. Their new record Death Wins drops 1/20/23 on Shattered Earth Records. You can view single through the video link below. As well as keep up with the band through their various socials. We will be doing a full review of the album so stay tuned for that!
