Barrie, ON prog-metal duo Jupiter Hollow are set to kick off a tour in support of their newest album, ‘Bereavement’ (see the review of it HERE). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, live music has been put on hold, forcing artists to come up with new ways to connect with their fans. In this case, Kenny Parry and Grant MacKenzie of Jupiter Hollow have put together a 17-date, completely live-streamed tour for fans all around the world to enjoy through the band’s Facebook and Instagram profiles.
Originally, Jupiter Hollow had planned a live tour for this month but were forced to cancel. Instead, they got to work planning a fully online tour experience that would allow them to perform to a world-wide audience. JH promises fans a true, live sound combined with brand new stage production and, of course, tracks from their new record. When asked what viewers can look forward to, Parry said:
“A window into a real live Jupiter Hollow show, more specifically, a new show for a new record, hopefully coming to you in person before we all die. Expect me to almost always be dressed as a member of our subject’s society, whether important or unimportant. Dig in, there will be lots to learn about Bereavement through our live shows over the next 3 or more years”
