Russian Pagan Metal Masters Arkona returned to the road in North America last night in Boston, MA and will stop tonight in New York City alongside Korpiklaani. They are on the road in support of their latest album Khram which was released in January via Napalm Records. Khram is available to purchase HERE. The tour runs through November 26th in Baltimore, MD. A complete list of dates can be found below.
Khram is the Russian word for temple - and is also the title of the eighth Arkona album. A Khram is a temple shrouded in natural mysticism slumbering behind nocturnal treetops, yet open to everyone. On Khram the band incorporates cellos, brass parts, wind instruments and throat singing, which are recorded live. The album features king-sized songs that effortlessly shift from blackened pagan metal masterpieces to epic tracks with crystal-clear melodies and piano infusions. Khram is an exuberant and demanding affair that defies genre boundaries with untamable spirit!
